Judge John E. Corrigan, 10 years of age with from left his aunt Mary Kate Stokes, his grandmother Sheila “Denny” Stokes, and his mother Bridget Ann Corrigan.

Judge Corrigan’s maternal grandparents, John and Sheila Stokes. Judge Corrigan lived with his mother and her parents in Bunacurry, Achill after the sudden passing of his father from 1946 through 1949.

Michael J. Kilbane 1889-1955 and Mary Agnes Patten Kilbane 1900-1984 both from Dooega, married in Scotland in 1920.  They immigrated to the USA in 1924.  There they had five children, Catherine 1926-2014, James Joseph 1928-1983, John Patrick 1930-2013, Mary Elizabeth 1931-1999 and Ann Carolina 1933.

John Patrick Kilbane married Joanne V. Golden Kilbane 1929-2013 in 1953.  John was an assistant Fire Chief for the Lakewood Fire Dept.  and Joanne was a registered nurse and later a homemaker.

They had five children, Kathleen Joyce, Theresa Ann, Kevin Austin, Mary Eileen and John Michael.   This memorial is in honor of our parents and grandparents whose sacrifices we are most grateful for.
